Remove highlighted picture

I’m using WordPress to make a easy picture weblog for now. I have a highlighted graphic set so it displays up in the thumbnail of the article but it is also showing up yet again in the put up.

I am hoping to continue to keep this image from exhibiting up all over again in the website publish, I observed a check box in the customization menu that appears like it would do it but I have tried checking and unchecking and it does not appear to do nearly anything.

I have found some content articles about applying a plugin to disable this and customizing CSS to disable but to use the two of those characteristics you need shell out for premium memberships.

Am I lacking a little something? Is there a way to disable this “feature” without having having to shell out for the pro versions due to the fact the no cost/lower price tag basic memberships match my wants.

  1. This is where theme customizations come in to play.
The goal would be to create a child theme from your chosen theme and to make code changes you want to get your site exactly how you like.

You can find great documentation for generalized theme development here:

If that’s far above your head, I would find a developer to work with, or a different theme.
